Domain Name Registration and Web Hosting

Whether you need a domain and/or web hosting, I can help.

Domain Name Registration

Having a sensible, memorable domain is far better than expecting people to remember web addresses like http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/your-site-name. It's also infinitely more professional.

If you have a relevant ABN, you can opt for a .com.au. Otherwise, your next best bet is probably a .com. Even if you don't intend to have a website created right away, I highly recommend that you reserve your domain before someone else (perhaps your competitor) does.

To start the process of obtaining your own piece of web real estate, check out my domain name shop: http://domains.risingstardesigns.com.au. If you have any difficulties, simply email me on: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and I'll sort it out for you.

Web Hosting

If you already have a domain, congratulations! You've sorted out your internet address, but now, you'll need webhosting, which is essentially like your actual mailbox (somewhere to put your stuff). For $100 per year, your web hosting and up to five domain-based email addresses will be set up and managed. These email addresses will be accessible from anywhere in the world that has an internet connection and browser and will be set up using Gmail.

With domains and hosting being so affordable, there is really no excuse for not having an internet presence. You can get started with a free blog that I can set up to redirect to your domain or you can opt for the professional route: having me build a website for you. You can find out about my website development services by clicking here.

I wish you all the best with your journey.
